i wrote a poem recently and this is it......

I Try....


I try to do things that are hard
I try to pluck every petal off a beautiful rose
I am still waiting to see pink floating by my toes


I try to let go of things that I long for
Trying to push all thoughts of love out of my head
I try to move on but I cannot, this I dread


I try to let precious things pass me by
I try, try, and try
But just the thought forces a tear out of my eye


I try to do things
That my mind urges me to do
But my heart tells me that I still love you...
